Specter’s former chief of staff supports Carney
By Wally EdgeDemocratic Congressman Chris Carney will get to add another Republican supporter to his Republicans for Carney list. David Urban, former chief of staff for Senator Arlen Specter will host a DC fundraiser for Carney on July 16th.

As previously related in this blog, Specter did not have time to endorse a Republican congressional candidate in his own district. Now his former chief of staff is holding fundraisers for a Democrat. I think the Republican voters of Pa. should draw their own conclusions about the suitability of retaining Arlen Specter as their candidate in 2010.
