Pennsylvania's "Enemy List" Inside Edge style

A week ago it was reported the Clintons had developed an enemy list, not a list any democrat would want to find themselves on we are sure.  After the report we decided to plan a secret bug in some prominent Pennsylvania politicians offices and send a mole in there to ask who is on top of their enemy list.  Here is what we found.

No more trips to the Croydon basement?

If you are a Republican and want to run for office in Bucks County or if you are a state-wide Republican candidate and you want the support of the South East you needed to make an appearance in the Croydon basement.

For those who have never heard of this, it is the basement/political museum in the home of Bucks Republican Chairman Harry Fawkes.  Almost all Republican presidents and Republican governors since 1972 have sat in that basement and asked for the blessing from the chairman.

One well placed Bucks source told Inside Edge the 2010 gubernatorial candidate will have been in the Croydon basement.  With the early Republican favorites being Tom Corbett, Rick Santorum and Bill Scranton III, all having already visited the basement, they may be the last to go through the long tradition.

Another Bucks Committeeman said it will be a sad day when Fawkes walks away, but he has build a strong bench ready to take over the Bucks machine.

10th District Republicans clash over abortion stances

With less than 24 hours until voters head to the polls for the primary, 10th Congressional district candidate Dan Meuser (R- Harvey’s Lake) is trying to show that his rival, Chris Hackett (R-Shavertown), hasn’t been honest about his position on abortion rights.

Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, who supports Meuser, told radio station WILK that Hackett, who is campaigning on a pro-life platform, told a group of Republican leaders that he was in favor of abortion rights.
