McCain cancels town hall meeting in Bucks County

U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) was scheduled to appear at a town hall meeting in Bucks County tomorrow, but his campaign e-mailed reporters this afternoon saying the event had been cancelled.

McCain, the presumptive Republican nomninee for president, will also not make a scheduled press briefing after the town hall meeting, which was to have been held at a Pipersville company locked in a fight with the state over wages.

The campaign did not say why the appearance was cancelled or where the candidate will be. A campaign spokesperson was not immediately available to elaborate.

UPDATE: The campaign says the cancellation was because McCain has a "head cold."

"We wanted to lighten up tomorrow’s schedule for him," the campaign said.

McCain's new 30

Is that his "vertigo" again?
Also, since his health is so great -- according to the "liberal" media but not according to his actual records -- I guess we don't have to find out if he has stage 2 or stage 3 cancer. Oh, and do we really need to know exactly how many suicide attempts he made? and how his explosive and violent outbursts impacted his first marriage? Were his violent outbursts part of the reason for his divorce? or was it just about his dating someone 25 years his junior?
