Rasmussen: Obama up 13 in Pa.

Barack Obama is leading John McCain by 13 points in Pennsylvania, according to a new Rasmussen poll.

The poll, released Tuesday evening, shows the Democrat netting 54 percent of the vote, compared to 41 percent for McCain.

Like other surveys, Rasmussen has continued to see Obama gains, three weeks after the two candidates were tied. A SurveyUSA poll released Tuesday had Obama up by 15 points.

Goodbye America

It's over. Obama will win and very dark days are ahead of us. Those of you that support him have no idea what you're doing. Perhaps you should go to The Daily Kos' website and read what's in store. You are effectively handing Democrats control for the next 30 years, so I hope you're happy with them. Don't like how society has become - too bad, because you're stuck with them, and there's nothing you can do about it.

It doesn't matter thought because America itself won't last that long. Since most here don't know history, let me enlighten you: we are not a democracy, we are a republic. For 2,000 years, every republic since the Roman Empire has fallen due to corrupt politicians and complacency of it's citizens. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. We are weak right now, and there are countless other countries ready to pounce. Even if McCain won, I doubt that would change anything. Neither of these losers is the leader we need. Honestly. So enjoy the time you have and make the most of it. Very soon all of us will be living in a much different place.

I don't know about that

Wow. That's bleak. I have more faith in people. Things will work themself out. I don't think Obama is right either and I think people will realize that over the next few weeks. Right now we just need hope. Is that so bad? I don't know a thing about the economy but it's curious that the higher Obama rises in the polls the further stocks fall in the market. I think that says something.

As my father in law, a blue

As my father in law, a blue collar Hilary supporter, said, "McCain's a Dud."

No two ways about it, although I'm sad that the lawyer will beat the non-lawyer.
